The 10th Avenue boat ramp provides excellent access to the Nenana River in Nenana, Alaska. This gravel-surfaced launch site offers a spacious parking area that can accommodate up to 40 vehicle-and-trailer combinations, making it a popular put-in for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters.
The Nenana River is a Class I to II (easy to medium) stream in this section, with a steady flow rate that is suitable for a variety of watercraft. Paddlers can expect a mix of wider, open sections and narrower, more technical stretches as the river meanders through the valley. Boaters should be aware of potential jet boat traffic, especially in the more confined areas. The launch site provides easy access to explore the Nenana River and the surrounding Minto Flats area.
