About This Access Site
Aeneas Lake offers a convenient boat launch for paddlers and boaters in Tonasket, with easy access via paved road leading to a gravel launch area. The site features one boat ramp and a parking lot, though facilities are limited—there are no hand launches, fishing platforms, or ADA parking available. The access area is open year-round but closed to vehicles from November 1 through the fourth Friday in April, so plan accordingly during winter months.

This lake is primarily suited for boaters rather than shore-based anglers, as shoreline access is limited due to extensive reeds, cattails, and mucky lake bottom. Aeneas Lake has been historically stocked with brown trout, tiger trout, and rainbow trout, making it popular with fishing enthusiasts who can access deeper waters by boat. Basic camping is available above the lake during the operational season, and good shoreline access exists in certain areas. If you're paddling, bring your own watercraft—hand launches are not available at this site.
