About This Access Site
Algoma Marina in Kewaunee County provides a well-equipped double launch ramp for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats accessing Lake Michigan. The facility features a modern marina building with restrooms, showers, and a lounge area offering panoramic views of the lake and the city. A fish cleaning station and sanitary pump-out are available for boaters. Daily launch passes cost $10 (with an honor box payment system located east of the ramps), while seasonal passes are available for $60 for Algoma residents.

The marina offers ample parking and is conveniently located on the Lake Michigan shoreline in northeastern Wisconsin's Door County peninsula. The double ramps provide good access for launching, and the site serves as a gateway to both local paddling opportunities and the broader Lake Michigan waters. In addition to day-use access, the marina maintains 48 seasonal slips for larger vessels and offers fuel and other services for extended boating activities. This is a solid choice for paddlers looking for a developed, full-service launch point on Lake Michigan's Wisconsin shore.
