Allequash Lake is a 406-acre lake in the Boulder Junction area of Vilas County, offering a public boat landing for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The lake has a maximum depth of 24 feet with a mean depth of 10 feet, providing good water conditions for most paddling. The access site features a paved boat ramp and parking area, located south of Boulder Junction via County Roads K and M.
The lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, walleye, northern pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and panfish, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers. Being situated in the heart of Wisconsin's lake country near Minocqua and Woodruff, Allequash Lake is part of a region known for quality water recreation and is suitable for both day trips and longer excursions.
