Alljoy Boat Landing provides convenient access to the May River and Calibogue Sound near Bluffton. The facility features two boat ramp lanes, courtesy docks, and vault restrooms. This is a popular launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters heading to the May River or venturing into Calibogue Sound and Atlantic waters. The landing accommodates roughly 20 vehicles with trailers, though parking fills quickly during peak use times.

**Plan ahead for tide and conditions.** Be aware that the ramp can have drop-off at low tide, which may affect launch and retrieval operations. The May River connects to Calibogue Sound, which experiences longer fetch and can have rough water conditions—especially important to note for paddlers in smaller vessels. Given the heavy use at this access point, arriving early is recommended, particularly on weekends and holidays.
