About This Access Site
Anclote River Park is a 31-acre waterfront facility offering excellent access to the Anclote River and its transition into the Gulf of Mexico. The park features a multi-lane boat ramp with courtesy docks and ample trailer parking (120 spaces), making it well-suited for both motorized boats and paddlers. Kayakers and canoeists will appreciate the designated paddling access and the opportunity to explore the river's lower reaches and shallow Gulf flats.

The park is open 24/7 for launching and retrieval, with overnight trailer parking available. Beyond water access, the facility includes a sandy beach area, picnic tables, pavilions, and restrooms. A day-use parking fee applies. The location is ideal for paddlers interested in exploring the scenic Anclote River corridor or accessing the protected Gulf waters and flats nearby—popular for both recreation and fishing. The roped swimming area marks where the river widens toward the Gulf, giving visitors a sense of the transition zone you'll encounter when paddling through the park.
