Baker Bay Park offers a convenient boat ramp on Dorena Reservoir, located east of Cottage Grove on Row River Road. The park is open seasonally from April through October and provides essential amenities including ADA restrooms, showers, and picnic facilities. The ramp is currently accessible at normal reservoir elevations, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters launching into this rolling, partially wooded recreation area.
Before launching, be aware that water levels can fluctuate seasonally. When the reservoir level drops significantly below the ramp, exposed mudflats may limit access—monitor current conditions before your visit, as the ramp elevation is at 765 feet. Dorena Reservoir is open year-round for fishing and offers both cold-water trout and warmwater species. The surrounding area features numerous trails for hiking and biking, and nearby Pine Meadows Campground offers reservable camping if you're planning an extended visit.
