About This Access Site
Located in Gilbert, St. Louis County, this boat ramp provides convenient access to Bass Lake approximately 6 miles south of Biwabik. The site features a paved concrete boat ramp with two launch points and two courtesy docks, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. A paved parking lot accommodates 17 vehicles and trailers, including one ADA-accessible stall, with parking at the end of Trails End Road.

The ramp is well-maintained and handicap accessible, making it user-friendly for paddlers of varying abilities. Restrooms are available near the parking area, and a paved path provides easy access to the water. Note that the landing can become rutted after heavy rain, so check conditions after precipitation.
