St. Croix River, Bayport State Water Access Site

**Launch Details:** The public boat ramp for the St. Croix River is located on 4th Avenue North in Bayport (in the Anderson Windows lot area), not directly at Lakeside Park itself. The ramp is free to use, though parking requires either an annual resident sticker or a $10 daily permit if you park at Lakeside Park. No overnight parking is permitted in city parks. A private launch option is also available nearby at Beach House Marina.

**Amenities & River Character:** Lakeside Park offers picnic areas, four picnic shelters with electricity, grills, restrooms, and drinking water—making it a good spot for a day trip. The St. Croix River at this location is a larger flatwater paddling resource ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Plan accordingly for parking logistics before arriving, as the free ramp and paid parking are separate facilities.
