**Before visiting**, note that a user permit ($15.00) is required to enter the Peabody Wildlife Management Area and can be purchased wherever Kentucky hunting and fishing licenses are sold. Parking is limited to designated areas and maintained roads only—do not block gates or access roads. Keep in mind that hunting occurs in the area, so use caution during hunting seasons; firearms cannot be discharged within 100 yards of the boat ramp.
