About This Access Site
Located in Cambridge Shores near Benton, Kentucky, Bee Spring Lodge offers a boat ramp and dock facility on Kentucky Lake's Tennessee River arm. The access features a gravel boat ramp with a steep grade, making it suitable for launching smaller recreational boats, kayaks, and canoes. The facility also provides docking space and is situated within a campground setting, making it a convenient base for multi-day paddling trips on the expansive 160,300-acre Kentucky Lake.

Kentucky Lake is a large, slow-moving reservoir ideal for paddlers of all skill levels. The calm waters make this an excellent destination for recreational kayaking and canoeing, though paddlers should be aware of occasional barge traffic. The nearby Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge offers additional paddling and wildlife viewing opportunities, while the surrounding Land Between the Lakes area provides access to numerous recreational options.

For current information on ramp conditions, facilities, and any applicable fees or reservations, contact Bee Spring Lodge directly at (270) 354-6515 or visit their facility at 573 Bee Spring Road, Benton, KY 42025.
