About This Access Site
Bennett Hill is a public boat launch located in Glendo State Park on Glendo Reservoir near Glendo, Wyoming. The ramp provides convenient access to this scenic 24,000-acre reservoir, which is nestled in the shadow of the 10,272-foot Laramie Peak. The site is easily accessible from I-25 by taking Highway 319 north through the town of Glendo, then turning right onto Lakeshore Drive to reach the launch area.

Glendo Reservoir is a large, calm-water destination ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters of all skill levels. The reservoir is known for excellent bird watching opportunities, as it serves as an important resting and feeding habitat for wetlands birds. The surrounding Glendo State Park offers additional amenities including a 44-site campground with electricity at select locations, making it convenient for multi-day trips. Bennett Hill is one of six public boat ramps available around the reservoir, so paddlers have multiple launch options depending on where they want to explore.
