Wright Patman Lake spans approximately 30,000 surface acres across the beautiful piney woods of northeast Texas, offering ample paddling and boating opportunities. From Texarkana, take US 67 southwest to FM 2148, then turn right at the third intersection and left at the first road, following to the ramp. The lake is accessible year-round, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats throughout the seasons. Note that bighead carp have been confirmed in the Sulphur River below Wright Patman Dam.
