Big Marine Park Reserve

Big Marine Park Reserve offers a motorized boat launch with 33 trailer parking spaces on Big Marine Lake in Marine on Saint Croix. The facility includes a 100-foot handicap-accessible fishing pier located north of the swimming beach area, making it a multi-use recreation destination. The park, which opened in 2008, also features picnic areas, a playground, hiking trails, and a visitor welcome office.

For paddlers and non-motorized boaters, be aware that this is primarily a motorized launch facility, so expect boat traffic during peak seasons. Shore fishing is limited on Big Marine, though a fishing pier is available south of the boat access area. Note that the launch area can get congested during summer months, particularly around the swimming beach area, so arriving early is advisable. Future park amenities planned include family and group camping facilities.
