About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Located in Coolin on the southern end of Priest Lake, Bishops Marina is Priest Lake's southernmost boat launch facility. From Priest River, head north on ID-57 for 31 miles (following signs for Priest Lake), turn right onto Kalispell Bay Road, then right onto Lakeshore Road, traveling 0.4 miles to the launch (watch for the boat launch turnoff on your left).

**Facilities & Launch Details:** This paved boat ramp includes docking facilities, marina with seasonal moorage, a beach area, restrooms, and an on-site restaurant. Note that the ramp has shallow depth, which is manageable for launching mid-draft boats but may require care with larger vessels. Public boat docking is available near the launch, and additional beach access with public easements can be found along Huckleberry Bay and Canoe Point.

**Nearby Paddling:** The marina serves as an excellent access point for exploring Priest Lake's northern waters via kayak or canoe. Two reservable boat-in campgrounds—Bartoo Island and Kalispell Island—are located within 10 miles and accessible by water, making this a good base for multi-day paddling trips in the Kaniksu National Forest area.
