The Black Creek boat ramp in Montesano provides year-round public access to the Wynoochee River in Grays Harbor County. Paddlers should note that hand launches are not available at this site—access is via the boat ramp. There are no dedicated fishing platforms or ADA-accessible parking stalls on-site. The Black Creek access point places boaters on the Wynoochee River, a productive waterway in the region. Nearby recreation opportunities include the Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge, which offers excellent wildlife viewing and bird watching, particularly in the Bowerman Basin mudflats.
