About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Boone Park offers free public boat launch access to Lake Nocona near Nocona, Texas. The ramp is located just west of the dam; from Nocona, take FM 103 north, then west on FM 2634, and north on FM 2953. This is one of three public access points on the lake, making it a convenient launching spot for paddlers and motorboats exploring the 3,500+ acre reservoir.

**Facilities & Amenities**
The park features two fishing docks and basic amenities including free camping on grassy areas. Note that there is no sand beach—water access is from the grassy shoreline. The park is open year-round and is primarily known for fishing rather than swimming, though both activities are permitted. The area works well for kayakers and canoeists looking for a low-key launch point with camping options, though paddlers should contact local authorities about current conditions and any applicable launch fees before visiting.
