The site includes a vault toilet and pull-through parking area, making it straightforward for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Boulder Lake is a spring-fed lake covering 362 acres with an average depth of 11 feet, making it suitable for paddling and fishing. The lake is stocked with walleye, northern pike, bass, and panfish. The nearby Wolf River is known for world-class whitewater canoeing and trout fishing if you're looking for additional paddling opportunities in the area. Moosehead Lake Camp, a first-come, first-served campground, is located nearby and offers convenient overnight camping if you plan an extended visit.
