Boulder Lake

Boulder Lake is a 340-acre lake in southern Hubbard County, located about 1.5 miles northeast of Dorset. The public access point features a concrete boat ramp with an adjacent dock on the west shore, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 28 feet and offers a sheltered paddling environment suitable for various skill levels.

The access site includes practical amenities such as a pull-through parking area and vault toilet facilities. These features make it a comfortable spot for day trips or longer outings. The lake is popular with anglers pursuing walleye, northern pike, and panfish, so paddlers should be aware of fishing activity, particularly during peak seasons.
