About This Access Site
Boundary Bend offers public access to the Suwannee River in Madison County, located near Dowling Park. To reach the ramp, travel west from Dowling Park on CR 250, turn left on NW CR 101, and follow SE Boundary Bend Trail to the access point. This is a primitive facility suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats looking to launch into the upper Suwannee River.

The ramp provides a good starting point for exploring this section of the Suwannee, known for clear water and scenic paddling. Note that overnight parking is not permitted at the site. For additional information about current conditions, facilities, or any questions about the access point, contact the Suwannee River Water Management District at 800-868-9914. Paddlers should be aware that this is part of a larger network of public ramps along the Suwannee and nearby rivers (Alapaha, Santa Fe, and Withlacoochee), offering multiple options for multi-day trips or shuttle paddling.
