Boyer Park and Marina is a full-service boat access facility located on the Snake River near Almota in southeastern Washington, just a short drive from Pullman or Colfax through the scenic Palouse region. The 56-acre facility includes a boat ramp, marina with fuel and docks, RV campground, day-use area, and swimming beach. This is a well-maintained, popular access point for boaters and anglers, with onsite amenities including a store and supplies for water activities.
The Snake River at this location is a major river system carrying an average flow of nearly 50,000 cubic feet per second with an average velocity of 10.8 feet/second. Boyer Park sits near the Lower Granite Dam (Little Goose Dam), so paddlers should be aware of dam operations and water level changes. The facility is part of Lower Granite Lake pool. To reach the ramp, take State Route 194 west and follow signs toward Boyer Park; the access is well-marked and easy to locate.
Note that the boat ramp may close periodically for maintenance, so check ahead before your visit. A scenic 4-mile paved walking path along the river provides additional recreation opportunities. This is a popular destination for steelhead and pike minnow fishing, so expect moderate to heavy use, especially during fishing seasons.
