About This Access Site
Located at the north end of Bear Creek Campground on Benbrook Lake, this access point provides a convenient launch for paddlers and boaters exploring the Clear Fork Trinity River and surrounding waters. The ramp features two concrete lanes with paved parking, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. This location is positioned in the scenic rolling hills and prairie meadow landscape of southwest Fort Worth, accessible via FM Road 1187 and Ben Day-Murrin Road.

Bear Creek Campground offers both day-use and overnight facilities if you're planning an extended paddling trip. Individual and group camping are available April through September, with RV sites featuring water and electric hookups ($26-$28 per night) and a group shelter option ($125). The campground also hosts wildlife viewing opportunities, with deer, hawks, owls, roadrunners, and woodpeckers commonly spotted in the area.
