About This Access Site
Located in the southwest corner of Benbrook Lake near Fort Worth, the Briar Creek Drive access point offers a two-lane concrete ramp with paved parking for convenient boat launches. This facility provides entry into Clear Fork Trinity River's impoundment, making it a good starting point for kayakers, canoeists, and power boaters exploring the lake's scenic open countryside of rolling hills and prairie meadows. Swimming is not permitted near the boat ramp.

The ramp is situated within proximity to Bear Creek Campground, which offers seasonal camping (April–September) and additional recreational amenities. Paddlers should note that water levels can fluctuate, potentially affecting ramp usability during low-water periods. The facility operates from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For current conditions, facility details, or to reserve nearby camping, contact the Bear Creek area office at 817-292-2400.
