**Location & Access:** Brockdale Park is situated on the west bank of the Trinity River arm of Lavon Lake in Collin County. To reach it from Plano, take Parker Road east until it ends at FM 1378, turn left for about 2 miles, then turn right on FM 3286 and continue 3/4 mile to the park entrance on your right.
**Facilities & Season:** The park features a four-lane boat ramp with vehicle parking but no courtesy dock. This is a day-use-only access point with no camping or picnicking facilities. The ramp is open seasonally from April 1 through September 30. Lavon Lake itself offers extensive recreation with 16 parks and 19 total four-lane ramps around the lake, making it a popular destination for boaters and paddlers seeking multiple launch options.
**Paddling Considerations:** This access provides entry to the Trinity River arm of Lavon Lake, a reservoir setting ideal for kayaks and canoes. The multiple ramps and day-use parks around the lake give paddlers flexibility for exploring different sections of the water body.
