**Location & Facilities**
Brumley Road provides public boat access to Knotts Island Bay in Currituck County. The site features a single launching lane, courtesy dock, and approximately 25 trailer parking spaces located north of the ramp. Hand launching is available for kayaks and canoes. The facility operates from 8 a.m. to sunset and includes restrooms and a pavilion with grills.
**Fishing & Recreation**
Knotts Island Bay supports a variety of fish species including largemouth bass, striped bass, white perch, yellow perch, southern flounder, sunfish, crappie, and catfish. The location offers convenient access to two nearby national wildlife refuges—Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and Mackay Island National Wildlife Refuge—making it an excellent launching point for paddlers interested in exploring protected waterfowl habitat and wildlife viewing opportunities in the area.
