Brushie Prairie Park offers free, year-round day-use access to Navarro Mills Lake on its north shore, making it an affordable option for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters in Navarro County. The facility features a single-lane boat ramp suitable for launching smaller watercraft, along with bank fishing access, parking for approximately 20 vehicles, a vault toilet, and several covered picnic areas available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Located near Spring Hill off FM 3243 southwest of Eureka, this park is an ideal starting point for exploring Navarro Mills Lake, known as the home of the state record white crappie. The lake offers good fishing opportunities and recreational boating, with additional amenities available at nearby facilities including Liberty Hill Park's marina, which provides bait, supplies, and boat rentals. Note that other boat ramps around the lake charge a $5 day-use fee or require an annual pass, making Brushie Prairie's free access particularly valuable for regular visitors.
