**Directions & Access:** From Lubbock, travel 5 miles east on FM 835 from Loop 289, then turn left at the tollgate entrance to Buffalo Springs Lake. The launch provides vehicle and trailer access to the water body.
This is a popular local recreation area suitable for paddlers of various skill levels. The relatively moderate depths and 241-acre size make it manageable for day trips, though paddlers should be aware this is a West Texas reservoir subject to seasonal water level fluctuations. Check current conditions before your trip, as water levels can affect launch accessibility and paddling routes.
