For paddlers, the boat ramp offers a wide, concrete launch area with a courtesy dock, making it easy to put in kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. The lake and creek provide a scenic, calm water environment well-suited for exploring by non-motorized craft. Anglers will also find good opportunities, with Skiatook Lake known for its populations of largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and sunfish.
The boat ramp is located approximately 20 miles west of the town of Skiatook, and around 60 miles northwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
