Burnside Marina

Burnside Marina, located at General Burnside Island State Park, provides fee-free boat ramp access to Lake Cumberland, a 100-mile-long reservoir on the Cumberland River. The ramp accommodates watercraft of all sizes, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats alike. The facility is well-maintained with easy access for paddlers of all experience levels and offers convenient amenities including fuel docks, a ship store, and on-premise boat rentals.

Beyond the ramp, Burnside Marina serves as a full-service facility with seasonal and overnight slips, repair services, and a waterside cafe. The area offers numerous peaceful coves for exploration, making it ideal for day trips or longer paddling adventures. The nearby town of Burnside provides restaurants, shops, and local attractions, while the scenic Cumberland Falls are just minutes away. Two reservable campgrounds (Waitsboro and Fishing Creek) are located within 10 miles if you're planning an overnight trip.
