About This Access Site
Cadotte Lake Campground offers a public boat ramp and fishing dock on the western shore of this 294-acre lake in Superior National Forest near Fairbanks, Minnesota. The ramp provides convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the lake, which has a maximum depth of 18 feet. The campground is located about 37 miles north of Two Harbors via Highway 2 and County Road 15, making it accessible for day trips or extended stays.

The facility is well-suited for families and anglers, featuring a sandy swimming beach, fishing areas, and a dock alongside the boat ramp. Campsites are private and wooded, with some offering lake views and trail access to the water. RV sites up to 45 feet are available. Peak season camping runs May 9 through September 1, with nightly fees ranging from $20–$22 per site. Additional vehicle parking is $8 per night. The site does not have ADA accessibility.
