About This Access Site
Canyon Lake 3 is a public boat ramp facility located on the Guadalupe River's Canyon Lake impoundment in Comal County, Texas. This access point is one of 23 ramps operated by the Army Corps of Engineers and Comal County around the lake, providing convenient launch options for boaters, kayakers, and canoeists. The ramp is part of Canyon Park, a recreation area managed by federal facilities along the lake's shoreline.

This access site is suitable for a variety of water activities including kayaking, canoeing, boating, water skiing, and fishing. Canyon Lake remains boatable year-round and offers paddlers access to scenic Hill Country waters. Note that an entrance and/or boat ramp fee is typically charged at most Canyon Lake parks and ramps. For current conditions, water levels, and seasonal closures, check with the Army Corps of Engineers or the Water Oriented Recreation District of Comal County (WORD), as water levels can fluctuate and affect ramp usability.
