About This Access Site
Located conveniently off Highway 98 on Marine Street in Carrabelle, this city-owned facility is an excellent access point for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto the Carrabelle River. The ramp features two lanes with courtesy docks, making it easy to load and unload gear. Parking is abundant with space for approximately 25 boat trailers, and a fish cleaning station is available for anglers. There is a $10 launch fee per use (or annual passes available for Franklin County residents and property owners).

The Carrabelle River offers access to a scenic paddling area near St. George Sound, making this an ideal launch point for exploring the river and nearby coastal waters. Several restaurants are located nearby, adding to the convenience of the facility. The well-maintained ramp and amenities make this a reliable choice for both casual paddlers and serious boaters exploring Florida's Northern Big Bend region.
