Located at River Mile 18.2 on the Multnomah Channel near Sauvie Island, Cassidy provides convenient public access for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The facility features a concrete boat launch into the main channel and a secondary dirt launch into Little McNary Lake. The ramp sits within the Sauvie Island Wildlife Area, adjacent to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife refuge and across from the Burlington Bottoms wetland—making it an excellent starting point for wildlife viewing and fishing expeditions.
**Access & Parking:** To reach the ramp, take the Sauvie Island bridge off U.S. 30 and follow Reeder Road, then turn left on Gilbert River Boat Ramp Road (approximately one mile to the facility). **A Sauvie Island Wildlife Area Parking Permit is required**—permits can be obtained from the general store on Sauvie Island near the bridge. Note that the dirt launch into Little McNary Lake does not have docking facilities.
