Catahoula Lake

**Location & Access:**
Located in Saint Martin Parish at Clayton Boudreaux Memorial Park, this is the primary public boat launch serving Catahoula Lake and the surrounding bayou system within the Catahoula National Wildlife Refuge. The ramp provides access to Catahoula Lake, Island Bayou, and French Fork Little River—a vast network of waterways ideal for exploring Louisiana's unique swamp environment.

**What to Expect:**
Catahoula Lake is a popular year-round destination for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. Heading south from the boat ramp, the lake branches into multiple bayou channels offering diverse paddling and fishing opportunities. The area is known for its winding waterways and wildlife viewing. A fuel dock is available at nearby Catahoula Lake Marina for boaters needing fuel, and rentals are also available if you don't have your own vessel.
