About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Located at the end of State Road 951 on Marco Island, Caxambas Park offers convenient public boat access to Caxambas Pass and the Gulf of Mexico. The 4-acre park features a well-maintained concrete boat ramp in good to excellent condition with one launch lane, courtesy docks for staging, and 31 paved trailer parking spaces. The facility is government-owned and managed by Collier County for public use.

**Paddling & Boating Opportunities:** This is an ideal launch point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the Ten Thousand Islands area and nearby mangrove waterways. From here, you have easy access to Caxambas Pass sandbars and the pristine waters of the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge and Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve—both excellent destinations for wildlife viewing and paddling through mangrove-lined channels. The location provides direct access to Gulf waters, making it suitable for both day trips and longer expeditions.

**Practical Notes:** Parking can fill quickly during peak seasons, so arriving early is recommended. Payment for parking and boat launch services is handled through the T-2 Mobile App. The facility is regularly maintained and recently underwent rehabilitation to ensure reliable access.
