Cedar Hill State Park's northern access point provides one of two four-lane boat ramps at this major recreation hub on Joe Pool Lake. The 7,400-acre impoundment offers excellent conditions for kayaking, canoeing, and powerboating, with calm, sheltered waters ideal for paddlers of various skill levels. The facility includes lighted boat trailer parking and is part of the largest park on the lake, making it a well-developed and convenient launch location.
Beyond the boat ramps, Cedar Hill State Park offers extensive amenities that make it an excellent destination for a full day on the water. The park features a marina, multiple fishing piers, a swimming beach, picnic areas, and even kayak rentals if you need equipment. With over 300 campsites available, the park accommodates overnight stays. This northern access point is your gateway to exploring one of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex's premier water recreation areas.
