Cedar River State Harbor is a well-equipped public boat launch and access site located in Menominee County in Michigan's scenic Cedar River area. The facility operates seasonally from early May through mid-September and serves as a convenient stopping point for boaters seeking shelter during sudden weather changes. Access to the harbor is available from the northwest side via Edgewood Road or from the southeast side via F Avenue, Penn Street, or E Avenue.
The harbor offers extensive amenities including a boat launch, fuel (gasoline and diesel), water and electric hookups (20, 30, and 50-amp service), restrooms, showers, and a pump-out station. Additional facilities include day-use dockage, picnic areas with grills, a fishing pier, WiFi access, and long-term parking for vehicle and trailer storage. Transient and seasonal slips are available for those needing temporary moorage.
For paddlers and day-use boaters, Cedar River State Harbor provides convenient access to the Cedar River with nearby amenities including restaurants, a gas station, and bait shop within a short distance. Wells State Park is located just a couple miles away, making this a good base for exploring the broader area. Monitor VHF radio channels 9, 16, and 68 for harbor communications.
