**Location & Launch Details**
Turner Lake is a 44-acre lake within Chain O' Lakes State Park near Fox Lake in Lake County, Illinois. The access point features a single gravel boat ramp on the northeast end of the lake, providing primitive launching for kayaks, canoes, and small boats. The ramp is free to use with no launch fees.
**Boating Regulations & Lake Conditions**
Turner Lake has a maximum depth of 10 feet (average 5 feet), making it suitable for recreational paddling and small motorboats. **Important restriction: Only electric trolling motors are allowed on Turner Lake**, unlike the other lakes in the Chain O' Lakes system which have no horsepower limitations.
