Chandler River Park offers a convenient public access point to the Neches River near Tyler, located off Texas Highway 31 west of town. The park features a boat ramp suitable for small boats and canoes, along with ample parking for vehicles and trailers. Note that the ramp may become unusable during low-water periods, so check river conditions before your trip.
The park itself is well-developed with 5,650 feet of riverbank access across both north and south sides, picnic areas, and a nature walk. This makes it a good spot for a full day outing combining paddling with bank fishing or relaxation. For those without their own equipment, kayak and canoe rentals are available at the adjacent River Park facility with onsite launch services.
