**Location & Access**
Chaudiors Dock Park is a well-maintained county boat launch facility located in Brussels, Door County, on the waters of Green Bay, Lake Michigan. The park sits approximately 2 miles west of Namur on County Road N and provides convenient access to one of Lake Michigan's largest and most popular boating destinations.
**Facilities & Amenities**
The park features a 3-lane boat ramp housed within a protected harbor, making it an ideal launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The ramp was completely replaced in 2011 with an extended structure to accommodate various vessel types. Additional amenities include a parking lot, piers and docks for fishing, and restroom facilities. A county permit is required to launch at this facility.
**Paddling Considerations**
Green Bay is a large, expansive body of water spanning approximately 120 miles and directly connected to Lake Michigan. Paddlers should be prepared for conditions typical of a large freshwater bay, including variable wind and wave exposure. The sheltered harbor at Chaudiors Dock provides protected waters near the launch, but those venturing into open Green Bay should have appropriate experience and equipment for larger water conditions.
