Cheneyboro provides a convenient public boat ramp on the Richland Chambers Reservoir arm of Richland Creek in Navarro County. The facility includes a concrete ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, with parking for approximately 10-30 vehicles and a restroom on-site. There is no launch fee, and no courtesy dock is available.
**Getting There:** From Kerens on Texas 31, head south on Texas 309, then west on FM 1393 for 2.5 miles before turning south on FM 2859 across the Chambers Creek arm bridge. Alternatively, from Corsicana via US 287 south to Eureka, take FM 3243 southwest toward Navarro, then follow CR 1090 south, CR 2160 east, and CR 1098 to the ramp.
This is a straightforward access point for launching onto the reservoir, making it suitable for paddlers exploring the broader Richland Chambers impoundment. As a reservoir rather than flowing creek, expect calm water conditions ideal for beginners and recreational paddlers.
