Chief Miwaleta Day Use Park provides excellent access to Galesville Reservoir and Cow Creek, located about eight miles east of I-5 near Days Creek in Douglas County. The park features a dedicated boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto the 640-acre reservoir. Day-use access is free, with no entry fees required.

The facility is well-equipped for a full day of recreation, offering restrooms, picnic areas with barbecues, a pavilion, and a playground along the shoreline. The shaded, tree-lined setting makes it a comfortable base for water-based activities. To reach the park, take Upper Cow Creek Road east from I-5 for approximately 7.7 miles until you arrive at the Chief Miwaleta Campground and day-use area.
