About This Access Site
Cisco Lake is a 96-acre lake in Bayfield County with a maximum depth of 105 feet, offering a public boat landing for paddlers and boaters. The access point is located near Drummond and provides entry to what is part of a larger chain of lakes in the area, including Big Lake, Thousand Island Lake, and Mamie Lake. This makes it a good jumping-off point for exploring multiple connected water bodies.

The gravel launch at Cisco Lake may have variable conditions, so paddlers should be prepared for uneven surfaces when loading and unloading. For those seeking a more developed facility with concrete ramps and piers better suited to larger boats, the Thousand Island Lake access (about 10 minutes north) is an alternative option. The lake contains panfish, northern pike, walleye, bass, and trout, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational boaters and paddlers.

If you're interested in camping while exploring the area, Two Lakes Campground is nearby and offers access to two lakes (Lake Owen and Bass Lake) with two boat ramps, swimming beaches, and a fishing pier. Day-use fees are $5, and boat launch fees are $5 per day (free with overnight reservations). For current conditions or to report maintenance issues with the Cisco Lake launch, contact Two Lakes Campground at 715-739-6334.
