About This Access Site
City Park #2 offers a well-maintained concrete boat ramp on Lake Gladewater, a 481-acre impoundment on Glade Creek located 20 miles west of Longview. The facility is operated by the City of Gladewater and provides convenient access year-round via FM 2685 north of US 80. This is an excellent launch point for kayakers and canoeists seeking a moderate-sized, calm-water paddling destination.

The facility includes several amenities to support boaters: a concrete ramp with courtesy dock, designated parking, restrooms, and picnic areas. With a maximum depth of 30 feet, the lake offers good water depth for various watercraft. A usage fee applies, and the site is open year-round. For current conditions, hours, or specific facility details, contact the Gladewater Chamber of Commerce at (903) 845-5501 or the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department District Office at (903) 938-1007.
