Clark Lake is an 865-acre lake in Door County, Wisconsin, offering a public boat landing for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 25 feet and features notably clear water, making it ideal for paddling and water recreation. The lake supports a healthy fishery including panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, trout, and walleye.
**Access Notes:** The east side ramp at Clark Lake Court is the primary access point but is quite shallow with limited parking. Users should be aware that the ramp has experienced wear and damage from motorized launching. If conditions at this location are unfavorable, the nearby Town Line Road Boat Launch offers a permanent concrete ramp as an alternative. Hand launching from the shoreline may be preferable for kayaks and canoes given the shallow ramp conditions.
This location works well for paddlers seeking calm, clear water for recreational paddling or fishing. The proximity to Sturgeon Bay and the Lake Michigan Ship Canal also makes it a convenient access point for exploring the greater waterway system in northeastern Door County.
