About This Access Site
Clarks Hill Marina provides a convenient public boat ramp access point to the Little River and Clarks Hill Lake. Situated along the northern shore of the lake, this ramp offers easy launching for kayaks, canoes, and small trailered boats.

Clarks Hill Lake is a massive 70,000-acre reservoir with over 1,200 miles of scenic shoreline to explore. The Little River arm where the marina is located is generally calm and sheltered, making it well-suited for paddlers. The lake as a whole is known for excellent fishing, water sports, and recreational boating opportunities. A $10 launch fee provides all-day access to the ramp and lake.

While this is not an official federal recreation area, the Clarks Hill Marina does provide basic amenities like parking for vehicles and trailers. Campsites, fuel, and other services are available nearby at the larger Clarks Hill recreation area managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Paddlers and boaters can use this ramp as a starting point to access the vast and scenic waterways of Clarks Hill Lake.
