Claystone Park

Claystone Park offers a convenient boat ramp access point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats on Lake Tobesofkee in Macon, Georgia. The park provides paved launch facilities along with nearby amenities like a beach, picnic areas, and camping.

Lake Tobesofkee is a reservoir on Tobesofkee Creek, a slow-moving tributary of the Ocmulgee River. The lake offers calm, flat water well-suited for casual paddling and boating. Kayakers and canoeists can explore the scenic, forested shoreline, watching for local wildlife like herons, egrets, and turtles. Motorized boats up to 26 feet can also launch from the ramp, providing access to the entire 3,200-acre lake.
