About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** The Claysville boat ramp is located in Kentontown, Robertson County, at the end of Forest Service Road 968 (Claylick Road). From I-64, take exit 133 and head south on KY 801 for 13.7 miles until it merges onto KY 1274, then turn right onto Forest Service Road 968 and follow it to the ramp.

**Paddling Information:** This access point provides launch opportunities on the Licking River. The section is noted as floatable at low water conditions, particularly in the fall. Paddlers should be aware of water level conditions before launching, as flows can vary seasonally. The nearby Clay Wildlife Management Area offers a take-out option via KY 57 (Cassidy Creek Road), making this suitable for float trips. The Licking River in this region supports diverse fish and wildlife habitat.

**Facilities & Planning:** This is a public access point managed in coordination with Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources. Before visiting, confirm water conditions and any access restrictions through local fish and wildlife offices, as water levels can impact usability during certain seasons.
