About This Access Site
Clear Lake's north access point, located off Clear Lake Drive in Waseca, provides a concrete plank boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. The ramp accommodates up to three vehicles for loading and unloading, making it a convenient entry point for paddlers exploring this 652-acre lake. The access is DNR-maintained and located within Sportsman Park on the north side of the lake.

This site is particularly appealing for anglers and families, as an 84-foot handicapped accessible fishing pier is within easy walking distance just north of the boat ramp. Clear Lake's maximum depth of 34 feet and moderate size make it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels. For those seeking an alternative launch point, a second DNR public access is available on the southeast side of the lake off MN Highway 14.
