Clear Lake Park

Clear Lake Park offers convenient access to Lavon Lake via two 4-lane boat ramps located on the west shore of the East Fork Trinity River's eastern arm. The facility includes a courtesy dock at the south ramp, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The park is easily accessed from Princeton, TX by taking FM 982 south from US 380 approximately 8.5 miles and following directional signs. Note that while there is a $5 entrance fee for the main park area, **no entrance fee is required to use the public boat ramp itself**.

The facility includes amenities such as hot showers, fishing docks, and picnic areas with shelters. Clear Lake Campground, the only shaded campground on Lavon Lake, is available for those wanting overnight accommodations. The Clear Lake Campground offers 23 sites with water, sewer and electric hookups. Hot showers, a boat ramp and fishing dock are also available.
